We are committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.
We may change this policy by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes.

We require this information to understand your medical needs, provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
• Internal record keeping.
• Email / texts are sent for confirmation/reminder appointments. We may contact you from time to time for marketing purposes.
• We may use the information to improve our products and services.
• For compliance with governments guidelines regarding COVID-19.
Security
We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. All of our staff undertake GDPR training and uphold confidentiality at all times.
When booking an appointment with Myla, you agree to the terms and conditions below.
BOOKING FEES:
We really value our patients at MYLA and look forward to seeing you; therefore, treatment times are specifically reserved just for you; however, we are a business with bills, rent, and salaries to pay whether you attend or not. When booking a treatment with us, we require a £40 non-refundable booking fee to secure your appointment time [this may be more if booking a course]. The booking fee merely covers the cost of being open and we make no profit from this at all, the alternative would be to add 20% onto our expenses. It allows us to practice from a luxury clinic specifically designed with you in mind to create a good experience.
As a practice, we decided that each patient should take responsibility for their turning up on time and risk Booking Fee loss, rather than the entire patient base's brunt. We appreciate that it might not be your fault that you cannot attend, you've lost your job, you feel well, found out you are pregnant, your car has broken down, or just changed your mind. No one pays a Booking Fee and expects that they are not going to attend, which we understand. BUT, that is the whole concept of the Booking Fee taking process in case of such eventualities. If they are refundable, there is little point in them being taken in the first place.
We currently take a £40 non-refundable booking fee for all treatments (this may be more if booking a course). This is to secure your chosen date and time for a consultant ion +/- treatment. It is unusual for us to decline treatment; however, if you have not disclose a medical condition/pregnancy, have active breakouts (including cold sores) in the treatment area, are under 18, or are already overfilled with filler in that area then we will still charge £40 for the consultation time.
To avoid this don't hesitate to get in touch with us beforehand if you have questions relating to treatment. It is your responsibility to do this prior to booking an appointment with us.
CANCELLATIONS:
Your appointment is essential to us. It is reserved especially for you however we understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary. Therefore we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice (and at least one working day) before canceling or rescheduling. You can do this yourself using the login details created at the time of booking. If you are unsure, type 'Myla Aesthetics' into your emails and follow the log-in information.
Please notify us by email, social media, or phone call if you wish to cancel or move an appointment. We love that you feel that we are approachable and contactable 24/7 however, we are humans with families and children and therefore work specific working hours like the rest of you guys; they can be viewed on our website or Google. Unfortunately, messages (including texts or voicemail) sent to us outside of working hours will not be considered until the following working day, even if you sent the original message within the 24 hour notice period; for example:
Messaging to cancel an appointment on a Sunday for the following Monday. In these circumstances, your booking fee will still be non-refundable.
It is mutually understood that if a cancellation is due to circumstances beyond any control, such as a power outage, unfortunate incidence, or weather that requires you or use to have to cancel or be closed during regular working hours, we will reschedule your existing appointment, and no fee will apply. This does not include being late due to roadworks, traffic or not receiving a reminder from us.
WHAT IF I CANCEL WITHIN 24 HOURS?
If you wish to reschedule and cancel within 24 hours of your original appointment we reserve the right to charge you the following:
More than 12 hours notice 20% of the initial cost of treatment. In addition to the original booking fee paid.
If you cancel within 2-12 hours notice you will be charged 50% of the inital cost of treatment.
If you cancel within two hours you will be required to pay the full amount of the treatment. This includes if you are too late to attend your appointment.
RESCHEDULING:
This must be done outside of the 24 hour cut off point unfortunately we are unable to reschedule appointments within 24 hours of the original treatment. You can only reschedule once before another booking fee is required so please ensure that you take care that the appointment date/time is suitable for you when deciding as you will forfeit the original booking fee.
If you wish to reschedule, the new appointment must be made within 6 months of the original treatment otherwise another booking fee will be required.
CANCELLING A RESCHEDULED APPOINTMENT:
If your appointment has already been rescheduled and you wish to cancel it the normal terms and conditions apply
REFUNDING A BOOKING FEE:
Unfortunately, Booking fees are non-refundable.
WHAT IF I DO NOT ATTEND (DNA) WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE?
Although rare, some people do not contact us or have no intentions of attending an appointment. More often than not, we order products (especially prescription medication) specifically for you and your treatment; therefore not treating without prior warning can cost us greatly. In order to protect our business and ensure that we limit this as much as possible, we use 'Card Capture' at the point of booking.
This temporarily store your card details in a secure network (we do not have access to them) if we record you as a 'No Show' this will trigger an automated charge to your card for 50% of the reserved treatment cost.
The policy applies to members and non-members alike, and this includes cancellations related to Covid-19 and illness. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have followed our guidance regarding Covid-19 and vaccines at the time of booking.
We recognise the time of our patients and practitioners is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time.
YOUR APPOINTMENTS
Please remember that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates, confirmation and reminder emails are sent out to the email address that we hold on record.'Not receiving an electronic confirmation of an appointment is not a sufficient reason to miss an appointment.'Likewise it is your responsibility to ensure that all treatments are scheduled in our diary including courses of treatments and MYLA Membership treatments.'We run a busy clinic therefore booking in advance is recommended, we will not be held responsible for limited availability and you may still be charged (MYLA membership).
LATE ARRIVALS:
If you attend later than your appointment time, we still have to end your treatment at the scheduled end time.'For this reason, you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.'If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will be charged for 20% of the cost of the initial scheduled treatment and asked to rearrange.'In order to get the most of your treatment by us, please arrive on time however we know that sometimes things are out of your control therefore we allow 10 minutes flexibility.
SICK OR FEELING UNWELL
If you are sick or under the weather, please let us know so we can reschedule your appointment. Getting a facial or an injectable treatment while sick is not recommended. Please respect and protect other peoples well being and reschedule your appointment accordingly. The normal cancellation policy applies. We have the right to refuse treatment in order to protect ourselves and the public, costs will be incurred for this.
COVID-19
You should not attend your appointment if you are experiencing signs or symptoms of covid-19 and the cancellation policy applies as above. Due to the track and trace requirements, we may need to share your details with NHS England. This is the ONLY 3rd party that we will share your information with.
PAYMENT POLICY
A valid credit or debit card number is required at the time of booking, at this point the non refundable deposit will be taken, which is deductible from treatment. We use card captcha to store your details securely. The remaining balance is to be paid in clinic, directly after treatment. Under no circumstances can you pay later . Failure to pay for a treatment may result in prosecution.
We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, We do not accept cheques or bank transfer.
PRICES AND SERVICES
Prices and services are subject to change without notice. We will do our best to keep our patients updated with any changes that may occur and encourage people to ask about prices at the time of booking. All prices include VAT.
REFUNDS
Skincare and treatments are non refundable. If you have paid for a treatment in advance that you no longer require you may transfer to another service or receive credit on your account.
GIFT CERTIFICATES/ACCOUNT CREDIT
-Clinic offers and promotions (including gifts with purchase and discounts) do not apply when purchasing gift vouchers.
-You can check the balance of your Credit by logging into your account (please note, this only applies if you register for an account).
-All Gift Certificates are dated and expire 12 months from the date of issue.They must be used within this time, no extensions will be given.
-Gift Certificates cannot be exchanged for cash and are non refundable.
-Gift Certificates may only be redeemed against products purchased in the same currency as the Gift Certificate.
-We are not responsible if a Gift Certificate is lost, stolen, destroyed or used without permission and no replacement will be provided in these circumstances.
-Questions, comments and requests regarding Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions are welcomed, please contact us.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Please leave jewellery and valuables at home. MYLA Aesthetics are not responsible for lost, broken or misplaced items within the premises. This includes vehicles left in the communal car park.
GRATUITY
Gratuities are not included in the price of any of our treatments, memberships or packages. If you wish to show appreciation for a job well done or service enjoyed, please do so inside of the treatment room.
